About UHT / Company Profile
Business model after transformation
Our company was founded in September 2011, primarily focusing on carbon fiber microwave technology. In response to changing market demands for carbon fiber-related products and sustainability issues, the company established a thermoplastic carbon fiber composite business unit in August 2021. In March 2022, a production base was selected in Caotun Township, Nantou County, transforming the company into a contract manufacturer of aerospace-grade thermoplastic carbon fiber composites. In August 2023, the company signed a business and technical support cooperation agreement with Cytec Engineering, a subsidiary of the Solvay Group. In September 2023, the new plant in Caotun was completed and put into operation, making the company the only supplier in Taiwan and one of the few in the Asia-Pacific region with the capability to produce aerospace-grade thermoplastic carbon fiber composites (PEEK/PEKK/PPS/PEI/PA). The company is expected to complete AS9100D aerospace quality system certification in the fourth quarter of 2024, aggressively targeting markets in aerospace, new energy vehicles, high-speed rail, and medical industries.
